Membership information

Enclosed find a membership/renewal form for the Mountain Spruce Community Centre Society (MSCCS). Please consider becoming a member or renewing your membership with this important Community project. Feel free to make payment by e-transfer at mtnspruce@gmail.com or by cash at any event.

The Society’s main purpose is to build a Community Centre that will serve the people living in the vicinity of Hathaway, Sulphurous, Higgins and Deka Lakes. Block A of the leasehold or 1.454 HA was surveyed by MSCCS for this purpose. The southern portion  some 4.517 HA is being developed by our volunteers as a Community Recreation Park.  A walk along the perimeter trail opens up a surprising vista beside Deka Creek and has a wildlife viewing platform overlooking the wetlands surrounding Heron Lake. Do come and experience this for yourself and plan on joining us as a member or as a Director if you wish. You are always welcome to join an adventurous work party or one of the many events, please check the schedule for a date that suits you.

MSCCS is currently introducing an informative Blog Site which will feature an ongoing schedule and information to keep you informed of the progress being made in the Park and on the Community Centre.
